Alex Collier

Following an eight-year stint as co-editor and cartoonist for Viz comics, Alex moved into writing children’s TV comedy.

His credits include the Best Children’s Comedy BAFTA-winning Class Dismissed (CBBC), as well as Mr Bean: The Animated Series (Tiger Aspect), and Danger Mouse (CBBC) - while also working as lead writer on the Danger Mouse comic. He wrote for the CBBC hit Dennis and Gnasher: Unleashed, the Johnny Vegas animation The Rubbish World of Dave Spud (Illuminated/CITV), DNN (CBBC), School of Roars (Dot to Dot/CBBC) and Nickelodeon’s Nella the Princess Knight (Brown Bag Films/Nickelodeon). He is also currently writing for Frog Box, Jam Media and Blue Zoo on projects in development.

He still knocks out comics for Viz, 20 years later.

Ali Cook

Internationally renowned magician, comedian and actor, Ali Cook has been making waves across all three disciplines in recent years. He has written and starred in seven British television series including Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Dirty Tricks and Monkey Magic.
His debut Edinburgh show, Pieces of Strange, was in the top two percent of best-reviewed shows according to The British Comedy Guide.

Ali has recently starred in The Anomaly (directed by Noel Clarke), sci-fi thriller The Call Up and the BAFTA-nominated feature Kajaki. Ali has recently completed a sell-out UK tour of Principles and Deceptions and will return with a new show in 2021.

Andrew is a prolific contributor to talkSPORT and has made numerous appearances as a team captain on their football show Gloryhunters. A keen golfer, Andrew has a dedicated YouTube Channel that covers his golfing exploits.

Andy Parsons

Best known for his role on the hit show Mock The Week, Andy started his career writing for Weekending and Smith and Jones. He went on to become one of the main writers on the groundbreaking Spitting Image. Andy has performed on numerous radio and TV shows including Live at the Apollo, QI, The Stand-Up Show, The Comedy Store and They Think It’s All Over to name a few. Andy’s also has a highly acclaimed political podcast, Slacktivist Action Group, recorded monthly at London’s Soho Theatre.

He has released four live DVD’s ‘Britiain’s Got Idiots’ (2009), ‘Gruntled Live’ (2011), ‘Slacktivist Live’ (2013), ‘Live and Unleashed but Naturally Cautious’ (2015).

Andy will be touring his new show Healing The Nation around the UK in 2020 and 2021.

Andy Robinson is a Birmingham based stand up. he hosts his own night in at the famous Birmingham Glee Club, Comedy Carousel, that regularly wins Best Night at the Midlands Comedy Awards and Best Club Night in the Midlands in the 2015 Chortle Awards. He has also worked as a warm-up artist for shows such as Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Shooting Stars, Later with Jools Holland, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross as well as dozens of others.

Andy has been the support act for Sean Lock, Rich Hall and Paddy McGuiness. He is also known as comedy legend Jo Brand’s regular support act and has worked with her for the past 15 years.

Angela Barnes

After a career in health and social care, Angela Barnes took the plunge and embarked on her life-long dream to be a comedian. Within just a couple of years she had won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2011, and has now gone on to star in Mock The Week, Live at the Apollo, and Hypothetical.

As well as becoming a regular on BBC Radio 4 having featured on The Now Show and The News Quiz, Angela took on the role of host on BBC Radio 4 Extra's Newsjack in 2017, and The News Quiz in 2019.

Des Bishop

Native New Yorker, Des Bishop moved from Queens to Ireland in his mid-teens in 1990 and has since carved out a highly successful career as one of the most in-demand comics on Irish television. He is well known for his humorous and insightful entertainment documentaries made for the Irish broadcaster RTÉ, and the acclaimed six-part series Des Bishop: Breaking China. For this series, he spent over a year in China learning Mandarin in order to perform stand-up comedy to Chinese audiences. John Gordillo is a Perrier Award-nominated English comedian and director.

John has directed shows by Eddie Izzard and Reginald D Hunter and most recently, in 2017, Sean Lock. Host and co-creator of The RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance), a daily topical comedy talk show, which played heavily with the conventions of the genre. The show ran for 60 episodes until BBC Choice was rebranded as BBC Three.

Gordillo returned to stand up in 2006, taking three critically successful solo shows to the Edinburgh festival. Kevin broke box office records when his 2015 tour A Whole Different Story went on sale at the end of 2014, winning awards from Ticketmaster and Ents24 for the Fastest Selling Ticket of the year. The tour saw him play over 145 dates, including an incredible 16 nights at The Hydro in Glasgow, with over 500,000 ticket sales across the whole tour. The Hydro was then the perfect place to record his most recent DVD, which went onto sell over 300,000 copies making it his biggest selling DVD to date.

As an actor, Phill starred as Baron Bomburst/Lord Scrumptious in the UK and Ireland tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang alongside Jason Manford in 2016 and in the same year, he played Bottom in the Bath Theatre Royal production of A Midsummer's Night Dream.
